How can we help you?
One of the owners of HERO worked as a nuclear chemist and with radiological controls in the US Navy in the 1990’s and his first inspection company was focused on insurance inspections, mold evaluations and air quality. This comprehensive experience and background has given us the experience to grow into a full service environmental company.
With our extensive background, when we confront environmental issues, we do things by the book. Period. At the end of the day, it’s your house, and most of the times people can take short cuts or clean things up and focusing on the cost and doing it the cheapest way possible. But if you want to know the right way to clean up the problem and ensure after the cleanup that it was done correctly, HERO is the team you want doing the testing and writing the protocols to make sure you are protected.
Think of environmental testing like getting medical tests at the doctors office. If there’s a concern, tests are performed, the tests cost money and we hope the results all come back negative. If they don’t, there’s a course of action taken and more testing later on to see if the problem was properly resolved.
As an example, we had an inspection where we found rat and/or mouse droppings in the attic, and the furnace was in the attic. After discussions with the buyer, we told them that we could perform air samples for rat and mouse droppings in the main living area to see if the air quality was affected. We can do most anything when it comes to air quality, etc but it starts with a visual inspection to determine which direction testing needs go.
We’ve made great efforts to reduce the cost of environmental testing so it can be accessible by as many of our clients as possible
Our goal is to take the complicated and the challenging and make it understandable, actionable and correctable so you have a home that has a clean and safe environment for your family.
We look forward to working with you to help demystify and solve all your environmental concerns.
